Client was anxious to refresh her living room but wanted to maintain a feminine flair. |

| Lois worked closely with the contractor she helped select to perform finish carpentry work. The original bookcases that extended only to the right of the fireplace now flank the updated fireplace. The new mosaic tile fireplace surround combines the earthiness of stone and tile with crushed glass tiles to add sparkle which are a perfect match to the new tile hearth. After rich Brazilian walnut hardwood floors were installed, new baseboards, crown moulding, interior doors and hardware and paint completed the canvas. Keeping some older treasured furniture, new sofas were purchased that match beautifully. New accessories and window treatments finalized preparation for the makeover. For years, the client had stored treasured art that she had collected while traveling. Lois choose matting and framing for all 10 pieces and now the client enjoys all of her artwork that had been tucked away for years waiting to be displayed. An extensive makeover completed the remodel and the entertaining has just begun! |
